Mt St Helen, WA - Jun 2009

Sadly, the three days we were in this area turned out to be cloudy and rainy, so our trek to see Mt St Helen didn't give us a great view of the majestic peak. Our drive was not in vain however, for we did stop at all four of the Visitor Centers along the 45 mile drive and each and every one was very interesting.

While in the area, we stayed at Mt St Helens RV Park near Castle Rock. The sites were very narrow and were tolerable only because they were separated by a row of hedges. After three days of looking in our neighbors windows while waiting for some sunshine, we decided to leave and return to Mt St Helens when the weather improves.
