Boardman, OR - Nov 2009

After leaving Washington, our first stop was in Boardman, Oregon where we stayed at the Boardman Marina & RV Park (a public park owned by the city.) It's a very pretty park -- right on the Columbia River. It has about 60 full hookup sites and many of them sit right next to the river. The large trees and green grass make for a nice setting. Here, we met up with Deb and Jim & Gayle (more Lazy Daze owners) and enjoyed a couple of days visiting and exploring the park.

While the park was picturesque with hundreds of migrating geese, the copious amounts of goo-poo (our nickname for goose poop) made strolling through the grass akin to crossing a mine field. However, sunrises and sunsets were pretty spectacular. Here are a few of my favorite photos.
