Balloon Fiesta, Albuquerque NM - Oct 2008

The first wave of Lazy Dazers arrive at the 2008 Balloon Fiesta. 34 rigs are scheduled to attend (although not all at once) and an estimated 68 people.

The Lazy Daze group has a great location -- third row back and great views, unlike the rest of these RVs that spread out for as far as the eye can see. This is looking away from the launch area -- a sea of RVs

The first launch day was cloudy and overcast, so not the best for picture taking, but still fun to watch.

I'm going to create separate posts for the better photos, but here is one of my favorites -- taken on the first (and cloudy) morning. Lilly Bee and Joey Bee launch holding hands and then, once aloft, they turn and kiss and then separate.
